FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - HOUSING
Provides limited emergency financial assistance for rent deposits, rent, or mortgage payments. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. The policy of UCM is to have a co-pay loan which involves the client in the process; therefore, clients are asked to sign a loan repayment agreement. All monies are dispersed directly to the landlord/mortgage company. The amount of assistance is limited to $100 (subsidized & Section 8 housing) or $150 (non-subsidized housing).
